Ta Da!

After two years in the making, Leasing NYC, with a publication date of March 15, 2013, was favorably reviewed by Lois Weiss of the New York Post who said, “By crystallizing the fine points of of New York City leasing…Lorberbaum has created a book that is as much a textbook for young brokers as it is a guide for the executive in another industry who is suddenly tasked with leading a space search…”  (Check out the entire article: Insider Knowledge.)

It has always been my experience that companies that don’t have Real Estate departments take their most competent executives (the ones that are already working at capacity) and then ask them to take on the responsibility of overseeing a potential move.  I’ve written this book – with generosity of spirit in mind- to help those “internal project managers” handle the move.  Based upon my research, there are no other books like it on the market.

With this blog, which I intend to update at least once a week, I will address many of the pitfalls often made by tenants looking for office space in New York City.  Although the concepts addressed apply to virtually all markets, the issues are exasperated in NYC.  It is the most competitive office leasing market in the country, if not the world.

Stay tuned!
